Steve is a Boeing 737 captain for a major US airline and is the current custodian & pilot of former RAF de Havilland Chipmunk WG430. He is FAST (Formation and Safety Team) Lead qualified, and is a former FAA airline examiner, instructor and oceanic ferry pilot.

Steve was raised in the south of
England but is now a US Citizen living in California. Steve experienced his first flight in RAF Chipmunk WD373 back in 1986, flown by former Red Arrows and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight pilot, Wing Commander Ernie Jones. Steve got to fly WD373 again 30 years after his first flight at Enstone Airfield in the UK.

Steve is the author of "Rubber Suits & Lukewarm Soup", a book published in 2017 about his ferry flying adventures. Proceeds from this book have been donated to the Douglas Bader Foundation, raising almost $20,000 for the charity.
